To be able to edit templates, you must have an administrator role.

To open the template editor, click on the "settings icon" in the upper right corner and select the “Account settings” menu item.

Select the pane named "Log templates".

The templates editor contains a list of templates. To edit a template click on it and the details will appear in the editor to the right. If the list is empty, you can click on the button "New log template" to create a new template.

In the log settings you are able to (the list matches the highlighted numbers in the image below) :

  1. Set whether the template should be published / available, in the web app and mobile app.
  2. Define the template name and description, as well as the Template type.
  3. Predefine which teams that will be notified when a log based on this template is initiated. You can also set if your selected teams should receive notifications.
  4. Create tasks that need to be done for this specific log template / situation. You can also set deadlines to each task. The deadline is set in minutes after the log was created.

When you are done, click “Save”. The updated template be added to the list of all log templates.

All the information from the template, including teams and tasks, will automatically be added to the new log.  When creating a new log based on save the template, you will be able to make changes to the predefined list of teams and task before you actually start the log.


  • I do not see my template when I try to start a new log. 

    • Check if you have checked “Available in mobile app” or “Available on web”. If you try to create a log from the web and you have not checked the “Available on web”, it will not be visible.
