How to improve the map positioning of users in the map

If you've experienced that the map positions for your users using the mobile app seem inaccurate, the reason might be that your positioning is calculated inaccurately on your phone. 

Luckily, this is pretty easy to fix!

 

Here is how to set the settings on your phone to make the positioning more accurate: 

 

 

Android: 

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Position, and then go to the app permissions
  3. Find the RAYVN app and select "All permissions"
  4. Then, allow your phone to select the accurate position, not just the approximate positioning. 

 

iOS: 

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Privacy and security
  3. Select Location services
  4. Find RAYVN and click it
  5. Set "Accurate position" to: ON

 

 

Configuring these settings should make your positioning in the app more accurate. 

If you want to stop sharing your location in the RAYVN app, you can turn it off from the menu in the app, but we also recommend switching off the permission to share location in the RAYVN app in your devices settings.
