One of the many issues we are at risk of facing in today's modern society is the loss of internett connections.
In that case - Is RAYVN still possible to use?
Yes!
Luckily, the RAYVN mobile app is still functional as a log tool when you are offline.
In offline mode, you can:
- Start logs (without mobilizing)
- Write and publish log entries
- Upload files and documents you have available to the log
- Write and edit reports
The following functionalities are not supported while offline:
- Tasks - you cannot create new tasks, edit tasks, or mark tasks as done while offline
- Video meetings
- Files and links - files cannot be downloaded and links cannot be opened
- Teams
- Notifications - you cannot send out notifications to others whilst offline.
How to start a log while offline in the RAYVN App
First of all - it's important to note that you need to be logged in to the app to be able to start a log.
If you are logged in, you will notice a header at the top of the screen that says you are using RAYVN in offline mode.
Click start log to start your log, and go through the same steps as usual.
If you want to mobilize teams and add them to your log, you will get a message from RAYVN which says that your teams will be notified when you regain internet access.
Work in an offline log
While you don't have internet access, you can continue to post log entries and images. You can also write and edit reports.
Any action that the system does not support while in offline mode will be inactive while you don't have internet access.
